Anyone tried it much yet? Wondering if it's like the proper stronghold games or just another iOS war game
It's stronghold kingdoms - the game has been released for ages on steam. The only difference in this version is the touch interface. It's cross-platform.
Somewhere in between I would say. There's plenty of gameplay vids on YouTube and you can always check out the steam page for more info. It's castle building, town building, troop and resource management with millions of other players on a giant persistent map. Frankly, I was hoping this would be an "updated" version for iOS, as the visuals are quite dated for 2017. But it is essentially identical to the PC version. This game has a HUGE following of fans, so I'm sure many people will be excited for this. Not my cup of tea, but I wish them luck.
not seeing this on the IOS app store in Australlia is there something specific I should searched for? I tried "stronghold kingdoms" "firefly studios"
Nothing found here either. I'm also in australia. Their website has no link or announcement about a soft launch. Their facebook page, ditto.
If you click the icon picture in the first post it should take you to the game, as long as your App Store is set for AU. It isn't showing up in search tho for some reason.
