Seems there are only 2 political parties, voting day is a non event, players constantly get popularity of high 90s % even if they have outlandish policies, nobody objects to policies and if you create a policy that negatively affects your country, you just bring in another policy that does the opposite and it's fixed.

All in all, sounds like very little 'simulation'.
It is quite hard if you only play casually and not like every single day to please every one and there are way more that 2 party's

The idea may be good but the game interface is just.... not like a game. It doesn't matter how good the concept is but if it looks like you're working on a powerpoint presentation or an Excel spreadsheet after launching this app, people are not gonna want to continue playing. Consult how Plague made their game interface, that's an example of how to make a simulation game appear like a game.

The three expansions to Democracy 3 (Social Engineering, Extremism, and Drones & Clones) are now available for $5 a piece as IAP in the game. On Steam, I've only played the first two expansions. Glad the game can now match the Steam experience.

The game runs at a snail's pace on my iPad Mini 1, which is really disappointing. It takes the game about ten or twenty seconds to react after I click on something onscreen, which has ruined the enjoyment for me.

Thanks for this. Was about to nab it at this price but I only have the original mini as well.
