    Hi guys,

I was just wondering earlier about this - timeless games that you have played to death time and time again, and yet you could continue doing so for eons into the future.

Ok, that may have been a tad over-exaggerated, but what's your favourite timeless game on this platform? Timeless here means a game that doesn't decay over time (that which played 50 years in the future would still retain its value). Timeless here also means you don't get bored over it, probably spurred on by things like beating your previous highscore.

Generally, the game you have in mind doesn't have a campaign or an end. It is basically replaying the same thing over and over again. Graphics here play a minor role - gameplay trumps!

My vote goes to Fruit Ninja.

Hmmm...so many! New Star Soccer Mobile (the full PC version is just as good) is what first comes to mind. Disc Drivin' is pretty rocking too. Air Hockey 2 by FlipSide5 is certainly on the list as well.

And I think now I have to add Super Hexagon. It's crazy frustrating but deliciously rewarding. :D

Still have 20 games going at any given time. A quarter of them are with TA staff. Been
Playing daily for two years now. Think I've hit 2,000 total games.

If I had to choose only one it would without a doubt be Bug Heroes. It's timeless, full of life, and very diverse. Never the same game twice. :)

There are plenty of other good timeless games out there that I could list, but at the end of the day, Bug Heroes is a clear winner for me. I'm a big fan of Punch Quest too. ;)

    Sure...

Super Crossfire: Its the perfect and best arkanoid type of game. With a great twist on gameplay mechanics (up and down), lots of power ups, enemy variety and formations, a lot of levels and modes (dark and survival) and its also made by RadianGames, the one who made Inferno +, Ballistic SE and Fireball SE, so quality is assured and has many options for customizations. Plus its published by Chillingo. Normally when I finish a story mode game, I delete it, but this has been on my iPhone and dont intend to leave any time. Love it back then, still love it today.

The Last Rocket: Another absolute gem this time in retro style. Escape with Flip from a colliding with the sun spaceship. This game is filled with a lot of clever and outstanding puzzles, gears to collect, multiple endings, secret areas to discover, boss fights, great controls (swiping, taping, etc...), no IAP. Its made with such love that it shows. Gaming cant be much better than this, one of the best ever for iOS. A must buy.

Both games are absolute gems, highest rating I can give to a game. Buy both, they are MUST buys

It's [/bold] or / whatever after you want to end an HTML tag.

I like Dead Trigger, but it doesnt have what it takes for me to consider timeless. It gets old after a while.. Mostly when you get used to the visuals, when you get to the point that they just look normal and not fantastic anymore.
