Hi guys, Just wondering what games have remained on your iDevice since the day you purchased it. Most of mine are those that are small in size, and easy to pick up and play. Would be curious to see what yours are. Cheers
The two most obvious ones for me are Angry Birds and Jetpack Joyride. I honestly don't think I'll own a device without either of those on it. I love a WIDE variety of games, but the simplicity and the "pick up and play-ness" of both really can't be matched... There's a bunch of others, and I'll probably get around to posting them, but those two are easy DBC
Ugh, never really got into Angry Birds, still not quite sure what the fascination and obsession about that game is. Jetpack Joyride is on my list. Temple Run fits into that endless genre as well. Are there any "bigger size" games that you would not get rid of no matter what? Even if you are running out of space?
Yeah, I know it's not cool to like AB, but I'm beyond the period in life where I worried about being cool, and I've spent countless satisfying hours with AB, so... It's kind of funny, I guess AB is a lot like TR. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could play that game for more than 30 seconds without deleting it or slipping into a coma from boredom. Never could figure out how people could actually get anything approaching enjoyment out of it... As for bigger? Hmmm... EPOCH. is likely to never leave. Dead Space. Shadowgun. Oddly, I just looked at my phone, and I don't tend to keep a bunch of truly "big" games around for long. The longest lasting game has to be my original un-nerfed copy of Dark Meadow, and that isn't going anywhere. Ever. DBC
Bad timing for this thread. Two days ago I deleted Slayer Pinball which had lived on my iphone since its release. It was gathering cobwebs waiting a possible update that never came. I still feel bad for deleting it. Goodbye old friend
Lots of games Incoboto Jetpack Joyride Dungeon story 10000000 Bejeweled Parking mania Beat hazard ultra Subway surfers God of blades Plague inc. Pixel people Ascension: chronicle of the god slayer Dragon island Blue These games will never leave my device,,, for now
Already a couple of these threads: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=150368 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=68076
Most of my games are strategy games like: - Puerto Rico - Tikal - Samurai - San Juan - Caylus - Stone Age - Le Havre
Mos def to both of these, and speaking of Bejeweled, I can't believe I forgot Bookworm. That might be the absolute last game I would delete... DBC
So, these games that will never leave your device. Do you actually play them regularly? Or do you just keep it for sentimental reasons?
For me I think I don't delete certain games as I try to predict what games will squash a particular appetite if it arises. A good brawler. A good car game. A couple puzzlers. Slayer Pinball. A good exploration game. a few emulators. A sports game. All these spots need to be filled. It's just depends on how well the game fills them that determines they're staying power.
Ah I see. Like a lot of junk I keep around the house and on my comp, I always worry that if I get rid of something, I may need it again in the future. It's annoying
I'm foreign to this place ._. Oh well. I wish I could hold more apps in one folder. Shadowgun, dead trigger and them are supposed to be there.. So much... D:
Aliens vs Humans - XCom anywhere. I love this game and love the fact it is on my iPad. They were made for each other....
