I will be back later today after I get a chance to play it ok I gave this a quick play and it's pretty neat. The combat is clicker style not action. ( tap to attack) It's a pretty simple game, but that's not a bad thing. There is a daily reward system and character unlocks and upgrades. Did not play long enough to get to a boss so I don't know what those are like actually I'm not even sure if there are bosses. I haven't died so I don't know if you lose your character and all upgrades when you do. I suppose that would be what makes this roguelike. this seems like a f2p but it's premium. Which really makes me happy I love this type of game and hate that they are usually f2p and full of IAP. This may not be everyone's cup of tea but I like it, and really appreciate the developers making it premium. touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #3 touchy85, Jul 19, 2016 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Very okay roguelike. Although for a game with roguelike in the name I kind of miss the roguelike element. 40 minutes in and not close to dying once. Game doesn't really reinvent the genre but it's good at what it wants to be. Level 16, 4 rooms and 1 monster.... I don't see a reason to continue. There isn't really any strategy or incentive to play this. Even on monster packed levels. Enker Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 85 0 6 #13 Enker, Jul 20, 2016 This is a lot of fun, good drop in/play/multitask gameplay that's interesting in short bursts and has a nicely put together system for combat with ammo/weapon management at a premium. It's kind of like a rogue version of early levels in Doom. People may want to grind early until they realise that every level is randomly generated - number having no effect - based on the monsters and weapons you've already unlocked through play. You build the game into complexity as you go. Boberlanez Member May 27, 2013 11 0 0 #14 Boberlanez, Jul 20, 2016 Good comparison. Сompletely agree! I unlocked the worm and a shotgun on the second level. There is no reset data function and you can literally get stuck with no ammo and on a continuous loop of getting killed with no options. No ammo drops, lots of worm spawns. No progress can be made.
