Anyone impatiently waiting for this game should check out this older game from NEXUS, it's pretty sweet, but hasn't received updates for 2 years, and it's pretty low res. but it's really fun.

I know this was supposed to come in march

Any word on a release date yet?



This game is needed, with such a huge wave of garbage releasing every Wednesday recently
(Especially tonight)

Tonight is looking to be a pretty good release day...

I was curious about the progress of this game and contacted the Devs to see if they had any further news on a release date. This is the reply I got....

Hello ,

Thank you for having signed up for Shadowmatic updates! We want to give you an update on where things stand with the game.

As it turned out, polishing a game to a degree of quality we’d feel happy about takes a long time. Coupled with our rigorous attention to detail, this has impacted the release date we had initially estimated. Making Shadowmatic a very special game with zero compromises is something we are deeply invested in. It is an idea that’s more important to us than meeting a release deadline. That being said, we can’t wait to release our first game out in the wild, and we hope to be able to announce the exact date of Shadowmatic’s release on the AppStore very soon.

Since publishing Shadowmatic’s gameplay preview we have been overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback. It inspires us and gives us the confidence that we are on the right track. Some people have expressed concerns that the puzzles might be too challenging to solve. Even though we don't find the game to be unreasonably difficult, we have decided to develop and preview a system of hints that the players can resort to when stuck. We want to stress though, that using hints to solve any of the puzzles should not be necessary, and we hope that they won't be used too often, if at all.

This update brings you a preview of how hints work in Shadowmatic by demonstrating a sample level from the game. You can notice the various strange silhouettes the player attempts to project during his quest for the only correct solution.

Each level has 4 hints. The first two are short sentences giving the object some descriptive context; the third one reveals the title of the level. In case these are not enough, the player can use the final hint and see an image of the shadow he’s looking for.
Hints are unlocked by using "hintpoints", of which the player is initially granted a few dozen. Number of player’s hintpoints increases daily. Extra hintpoints are earned by completing levels.

Still no new info....
Time is sometimes just too damn slow.
Bought Spin and Shadow Move but they are just placeholders for this hopefully soon to be released beauty.
