I don't know what to call this genre, but games like "The Wars", "Medieval", and so on. I don't have any apps like those at the moment and was just wondering what are some good ones? Thanks
Now i get kamazar when he says"learn to search!" lol but yea the wars, cartton wars, and medieval are very different CD games as you not only defend but attack other castle too. stickwars is plain up CD
Sorry but I'm not talking about plain "stick wars" style CD. I tried searching and I'm not sure what you call this genre of games like "the wars" and stuff lol. One question though, does The Wars have infinite levels? Or is there a limit?
I'm interested in this genre too, although I've seen some other things called castle defense before.. games like this flash one: http://www.towerdefence.net/games-114-Castle_Defense.php The graphics are pretty terrible, but I kind of like the idea. It's similar to the Moo-moo Town WC3 mod. Anyway, Scott and I talked about making a castle defense game, and we discussed some of the ways they would be different from the traditional tower defense sorts of games, like Fieldrunners... In my mind, in a castle defense game, the enemies attack your castle and your walls, not run along a path. So I'd be glad to hear about more games in this genre and what people like and dislike about them.
okay I'll say this again, there is tower defense like field runners plain up Castle defense like stickwars then theres Castle defense/attack like the wars. If you like the third the three best i can recommend in order is cartoon wars-great upgrade, charcters and difficultly the wars- like the eras, upgrades, could be better that cartton wars once the update comes then medieval-nm to say about this one
Sweet thanks might just buy all three of them. The Wars, Cartoon Wars, etc. just wondering though, do games like these force you to play through such as "level 1, level 2, level 3" or is it just go on until you destroy their castle and then game over? (sorry if that sounds hard to understand)
no you destroy the castle and go to the next level as it gets increasingly difficult each time with new enemies

Knights Onrush is probably one of the best CDs out there, imo. Nevermind, you were looking for a different genre of castle defense games..
