I'm aware that these games dont have much in common but I can only afford one. Rolando 2 has a fun lite version.......but pvz is rated 5 stars at number 1 .Which to get? Thx
Yeah man! Totally agree with you. PvZ is cheaper, more engaging, funnier, has nice gfx and well... It has a humorous almanac! What more could you ask for?! But if you're not a TD fan, then rolando is the way forward. But hey, who doesn't like TDs?
Rolando 2 is loads of fun. Highly recommended. Probably the best platformer I've played for the iDevice, and the music/graphics, everything is incredible. But if you like TD type games, go for Plants Vs Zombies.
Rolando 2 WAS my favorite game. Then PvZ came out. I'd never played it before, and now I'm so addicted. definitely get it.
No, R2 took me less than 5 hours, I'm 5 and a half hours into PvZ, and have completed 37 out of 50 levels in adventure. Add the fact that PvZ is cheaper, and PvZ is the obvious winner.
Plants Vs. Zombies definitely. It is extremely addicting and you just want to keep playing to get the next plant at the end of the level. The almanac also has some funny entries in it. Popcap seems to make a lot of really addicting games...
Rolando 2 is an extremely fun experience, but I'm going to have to say that PvZ is more addicting. So, go with PvZ.
I'd personally recommend PvZ much more than R2. They're both great games, but you'll likely get more out of PvZ, unless you like to have more control over the game environment (I.E., being able to move around and interact with it more than a typical TD game) You can't go wrong with either of them though
People are going to tell you to get PVZ because its new and hyped right now.... But really what it boils down to is: Do you like tower defense or strategy/platformer/action games better? Both are great titles with great gameplay. Its just which style of gameplay do you like better thats most important in this decision.
Exactly, I thought PvZ would be better but once I downloaded the free flash version for pc from the link that TA gave, I realized that I just didnt like the game. But that might be because I dont appreciate TD games as much as everyone else does, so it all matters on what type of game you like.
How many hours of playtime does the average gamer get out of Rolando 2? How bout for plants vs. Zombies? Playtime may ultimately be the deciding actor for me in choosing between these 2 apps. Which has more?
I prefer them both, they're awesome. So pick the genre you prefer. But... As a gamer, my money's on Rolando 2. I think it's just...more fun. But that's just me.
I highly recommend experiencing both games, but I think I would start with PvsZ. However, like others have said it comes down to whether you're in the mood for a platformer or a TD/CD.
