If you're wary, Cato's Hike is a similar experience that offers a trial version. The Cato graphics are VERY kiddy and the first set of levels is trivial, but it gets quite complicated surprisingly quickly.
Robozzle is a programming logic game with a gazillion user made levels. That one DEFINITELY has as much difficulty as you choose to endure.
SpaceChem is probably the standard premium game when it comes to challenging logic/coding puzzles.
I'm also quite fond of Cargo-Bot, a free game made as a showcase for Codea but challenging and a fun coding puzzle experience in its own right.
