In the board game "Race of Nations" you are leading a small village. Your task is to develop most glorious and advanced empire.

To do so, you must construct new buildings: mines, farms, libraries and laboratories. You also must hire and feed new workers and research new technologies. As a good lord you have to take care after your subjects by providing them entertainment. However, you must not forget about your sovereignty. Military force is vital and winning a war can grant your nation glory for aeons.

This game is a perfect solution for people with inclination towards turn-based strategies. It provides entertainment for long time with computer player or by using multiplayer mode - with friends on one device or via the Internet. A tutorial for novice players has been prepared, which will guide newcomers through the game.

We implemented also 4 add-ons. Polish, Czech, Spanish and Korean. It is 35 additional cards which can change game play significantly.

Game is available on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/race-of-nations/id1049409321?ls=1&mt=8

Game is provided with two language versions: English and Polish

So, is this worth a go? I never played Through the Ages, so not sure how to take the comparison.

It does have a polished appearance, but it's gameplay that matters.

Saw this game mentioned on another site that was discussion the release of TtA. I tried finding info on this one, but not much is out there.
Is this worth picking up for someone who likes boardgames?
