Couldn't give two ..... About real time shadows,

All I want to know is, will it run smooth on iPad 3 or lag like waiting for a bus?

    World, now Belgium
This makes me curious again. This si what I thought I read somewhere and Aralon (despite the various nuisances) was the very last great CMG game for me.

    Hi all -
On the confusion of device support - what iTunes lists is not what the game actually supports. We cannot tell iTunes what devices we support, other than in the App's description.

Ravensword supports iPhone 4 and up, basically.

We were unable to support 3GS, iPad 1, or iPod 4 because we are far beyond the memory limits of those devices.

I am looking at getting a new ipad like next month, should I get the 4 or see if a new one comes out? Anyone hear it might be coming in March or so?

    EDIT:

Oh, never mind! Thanks again for all your hard work, Sanuku.

    --------------------------------------------------

Can anyone confirm how this performs on an iPad 2?

I'm afraid I already know the answer.....

In case some of you are wondering, the game runs very well on an iPhone 4s.

I will say that I have my doubts regarding the fun-ness of the melee combat system (it mostly looks like auto-targeted lather-rinse-repetitive button mashing of one single attack, with what might unfortunately be no manual evasion or blocking. The combination of these shortcomings might mean there is possibly little to no skill involved).

But that is about all the doubts I have, and when could I last say that about a game? It's almost like these cell phones are real gaming devices!

Sorry if dumb question, but does it have iCloud save support ? Because i'm the type of guy that plays on his iPad at home and on his iPhone on the way to work and at work :D
And i don't want to start a new game on each device...

Yes it does, it's right in the game description and I also remember one of the developers mentioning it in the upcoming thread :).

there is manual blocking and parrying, as well as power attacks (if you have the right rune for it) as well as dodging.

You might be pleasantly surprised. There's targetting assist, not really auto targetting, and it can be turned off anyway. You can block and roll-dodge -- and in fact need to to survive with stronger enemies. Magic is fully integrated, meaning that you can go from a melee strike to a flame blast without pausing. And you have limited stamina, which discourages. wild swinging. In general, timing is important. Obviously, once you level up you can just swat away weak enemies, but that's true of any action RPG.

Yeah, that's why I revised my post.

Anyway, I'm only really seeing one combat situation there, Sanuku, and some cut-scenes.

Would you say that the iPad 2 runs the game admirably during open-world activities, or w/ combat in forested / high-detail environments? Does magic (particle effects, etc.) slow things down?

Thanks, when you find the time to reply.
