A Reliable Workout Companion
If you haven't got All-in Fitness from Viaden Sports, you should definitely check this app out. Whereas the icon is a far cry from Viaden's usual polishness, what's inside the app still resembles what Viaden does best - powerful and trustworthy database, intuitive navigation, and a reliable system to help you achieve your goal with ease and efficiency.
Despite the fact that this app serves more like a Lite version of All-in Fitness, it probably still deserves a place on your iPhone screen. For instance, if you are only into arm workout and don't want all the hassles of the almighty All-in Fitness, which I use daily, this app may solve all your problems at once.
For beginners, this app has 10 effective workouts with photo, voice and video instructions. You can download the content and upload it through iTunes before bringing this app to gym so that it does't need to download again. It even includes a music player to play your favorite tracks while you needs some motivation. Besides the app is now in 6 different languages and allows you to share your progress on Facebook.
Since this app is a Lite version, it doesn't need you to build a profile. For people who just install this app to have a taste of the full version, this isn't a problem. However, I hope the developers can allow users to build a profile later on, otherwise it would be difficult for users to migrate their data to the full version since they have to start all over again.
One thing I strongly feel missing from this app is a calendar. Calendar is a great tool to help you keep track of what've done and what you are going to do. Without its presence, the app seems incomplete.
Of course, if you are serious about your fitness. It's always better to download the full version sooner. However, if you just want to have a try, this distilled yet reliable app is more than enough to help you know more about workout and yourself.
