Thanks for that. I guess I would be best holding off for now then. (I don't want the tablet, already have an ipad but
I don't want to sink all that money into it if it's going to be obsolete in 2 months )

Really makes me wish I bought a crossfire capable mobo so I can pair my r9 280x with a 750 ti as you said
Just read this seems relevant

Basically nvidia have changed their drivers to disable physx if theres an AMD card also present. Reading that kind of made me decide to give up on the Shield and keep to AMD also makes me wonder if it also effects APU's as that would be a really low blow.

This was tempting me but I'm totally put off by the fact I'd have to charge two more devices every day.. The tablet and the controller.

If the controllers buttons were integrated into the tablet it would be a day 1 purchase for me as I am desperately seeking a good android based device with proper buttons/sticks for emulation.

Heads up to anybody planning on buying this tablet, a lot of people have been complaining about their tablets having cracks around the edges. It seems pretty widespread, I'd hold off until this gets fixed.

I've read people are having serious wifi issues as well but hopefully there will be other K1 devices soon I was stunned when I clicked this benchmark to see just how far ahead the shield is.

Benchmark

Might be Nvidia has an amazing chip but a bad Tablet.

Rumor has it that the Nexus 8 will have the 64 bit Nvidia K1 Denver Chip inside. That tablet should be better quality than Nvidia's tablet.(hopefully)

I'm thinking of buying of buying Kainy from Google Play apparently it does the same thing as the shield streaming but from any type of graphics card which suits me as I use AMD but for anyone who uses a recent Nvidia card and doesn't have a shield apparently limelight is a reverse engineered version of the same software on the shield.

Probably neither is as good as the Shield but I think they have potential.
