Heh, kinda unprofessional when you make grammar mistakes but I'll sign it. ruining* 'We, the gamers' not 'Us the gamers'
It's 3:16Am in the morning. Im on sleeping pills, yet somehow still awake. I have surgery in 2 days and I was using iPad. All adds up
I like the term Slacktivism! I will be using that more often. If you don't support devs and wait for sales then don't b*tch. If you perpetuate the freeemium model then don't b*tch. I support devs through my site, my twitter, this forum, my wallet, and my time. ** One more: You bought one game for $5, 5 more from sales, and the rest are free so don't b*tch.
Well I signed it. I used to respect Gameloft, but then I took... Okay not going with that joke!! But then they haven't released a paid game in a long time... Edit: Except Gangstar Rio, MC3 and TinTin, which technically came out months ago. Here's a list of GL's latest releases on iOS. On first page I can only see Gangstar as paid... =/ http://www.gameloft.com/download-games/?request=games&selected_platform=iphone-games&selected_sort=date&selected_show=all
Haha. I doubt this will work, but it is a way of voicing our opinion about it to Gameloft. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. Regardless, I signed it.
Yes, I see where people are getting at saying it won't work. But it won't get you anywhere if you don't try. Until people recognize that then I see them as quitters and weak.
I can't even access the petition. The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.
After I tweet it once, I can't access it, kinda weird but I think it means I signed it. Btw, you did tweet it.
Can you check and see if I show up on the petition. When I went to authorize the App it took me to that screen.
I'm not upset they went freemium. To be honest, they only have a few games I play. If the games were selling as good as they are made out to be, they wouldnt be free. At least with a freemium game you can test out how bad/good games are before shelling out any money. imo If you have noticed , most, but not all top selling non-freemium games have been ports from other platforms...pc..consoles etc... Examples: Sonic CD, Final Fantasy 3.. tried and true ports are money makers.(look how many units of World of Goo has sold.:example) so there is no wonder gameloft went freemium.
Yet they haven't tried to make a good puzzle game? Cut the Rope, Angry Birds all made money and they are small puzzle games. Now that's what Gameloft should try to do.
