I just found this: http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2011/06/15/lego-harry-potter-years-5-7-gameplay-video-from-e3-2011.htm And the video says it's coming out for iDevices too. November can't come soon enough. I loved the first one so much. Damn too many games. Lol this should be fun. Im gonna go see Harry Potter part 2 this sunday. Have you guys seen it? Is the 3D worth it?
HELLZ YES! I really want to play years 5-7 after seeing the final movie! The 3D would be unnecessary based on what I saw.
I have been looking forward to this game ever since playing the 1st one. I'm not really what you would call a 'potter fan' but I did rather enjoy the 7th movie over all, except they never really clarified for people who didn't read the books (like my friend), what the titular 'Deathly Hallows' had to do with the story. All we need now is Lego Starwars on iOS.
@ crex: I know hey. Lego Harry Potter is quite good and all, but the Star Wars games were just brilliant. Much much better than the prequel trilogy, and I'm not even a Star Wars fan. What I'm interested to know is whether this Harry potter game will be the same isometric kind of environments as the 1st one, or will be more like the xbox/ps3 version.
Well, they charge a whole lot more for the console version. Like around $40. So, the iPhone version maybe won't have all the features. But, you can guess it will at least be as good as the first one. And it will probably only be $4.99 again. I am just happy another one is coming out. Since, Harry Potter is ending and I can still experience everything over again in these games. I'm also looking forward to Gameloft's Harry Potter game, but not as much as this one.
Is it just me, or are the controls for Harry Potter really sticky? I couldn't complete it on the two control sets that were available. Star Wars seems like the more profitable choice.
Release date has now been confirmed as 11 Nov in US and 18 Nov in Europe. What are the chances of it being in the App Store on those dates?
Pah not Harry Potter Seriously though i just wish they would release a Star Wars lego version. The quality of those old Star Wars apps is pretty shocking. Come on Lucasarts, get it sorted !!
I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of Harry Potter even though I have not read the books or watched the films. If it can be done with one Lego game I can't see any reason for it not to be done with the other Lego games. Star wars would be awesome. As would Indy. I got Pirates of the Caribbean on DS and was really disappointed
"This time the game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Vita, Wii, DS, 3DS, PC and will hit this November." It doesn't say anything about iOS...
