The thing in app store that block me from downloading anything bigger than 20mb on the app store is just plain stupid. The only difference is that 3G net costs. But if they are worried about us wasting a lot of money, why not just add a warning saying "file over 20mbs, continue to download?" and an option to cancel a download. That said, is there a way to remove this? Like an option in Settings that I couldnt find?
It's not just to save you money, it's to save the service provider bandwidth. The number of people using their phones to access content has skyrocketed in recent years and providers are struggling to meet needs.
Oh that makes sense. Computer is the way to go then, but my main source of Internet is the 3G net from my phone, so they aren't saving bandwidth.
