The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in… First Place: Out There (27 votes) Second Place: Card City Nights (12 votes) Third Place: Mr Flap (8 votes) Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=219850 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Alphadia Genisus Thread Block Fortress: War Thread Block Legend Thread Bloo Kid 2 Thread Calling All Mixels Thread Cashflow - The Investing Game [iPad Only] Thread Cat the Fish Thread DaVinci's Art of War [iPad Only] Thread Deadlings Thread Devious Dungeons Thread Doggins [iPad Only] Thread Eets Munchies [iPad Only] Thread Faif Thread Flappy Cars 3D Thread Four Pigs Soccer Thread Knock-Knock Game Thread Mines of Mars Thread Ninja Newton Thread Nozoku Rush Thread Smash Hit Thread Soccerinho Thread Tanuki Forest Thread Uber Racer 3D Monster Truck Nightmare Thread Wave Wave Thread Note: 1Path will be eligible when re-released due to rapidly being pulled from sale. Block Fortress: War Calling All Mixels Soccerinho Uber Racer 3D Monster Truck Nightmare Wave Wave I also bought Doggins, Eets Munchies, Faif, and Knock-Knock Game, but I liked the above titles a little more.
Going against the grain this week (suspecting the big boys Block Fortress: War and Mines of Mars to duke it out, but I didn't get either). Block Legend Wave Wave Devious Dungeons Bloo Kid 2 Smash Hit Thought about nominating Alphadia Genesis, which is great, but since I'm really playing it on Android and played seven other iOS games this week, I'd put others for my noms.
Smash Hit Wave Wave Glint Mines of Mars Block Fortress: War Microtrip Edit: nvm, dev is removing 1Path from the store
Mines of Mars Devious Dungeons Alphadia Genesis Cashflow - The Investing Game Da Vinci's Art of War Could Cashflow please be added to the list of noms.
What a fantastic year so far... and its only March... Mines from Mars Block Legend Wave Wave Microtrip Nozuku Rush And the award for best update goes to: Miss Claire Garden
Man, no love for 1Path? (Is it even eligible for this poll?) Seriously, this game deserves more attention. If you enjoy games like Tilt to Live, Beat Leap, TripTrap, you'll enjoy 1Path. It's as much of a fast pacer puzzler of figuring out how to complete a level as it is a precision twitch reflex game as you deftly avoid lasers and bombs.
Will update original post to include 1Path, DiVinci's Art of War, and Demolition Crush when at a desktop in a few hours.
Da Vinci's Art of War, Block Legend, Cat the Fish, Eets Munchies, Smash Hit, Doggins, Four Pigs Soccer, Cashflow, Knock Knock Game, Faif, Bloo Kid 2, Tanuki Forest, Wave Wave, Devious Dungeon, Mines of Mars, Block Fortress War, Adventure Land...How am I supposed to pick from those? Block Legend Doggins Faif Bloo Kid 2 Wave Wave It really hurt to leave Smash Hit and Adventure Land off, but I'm hoping they'll get through on other people's votes. I can honestly say this has been one of my favourite weeks for a long time. This wonderful site may have just cost me a fortune but I wouldn't be playing some many beautiful games without you guys, so thanks!
