Could just be that I haven't spent enough time with TWEWY though. I bought it when it first came out, but I got the SD build, and had a 4th gen touch... I got the HD build over the XMAS break for my iPad, and enjoyed it quite a bit, but after completing it once, I haven't gone back. Bastion is one that I've already played through three times now. I absolutely love it. =oP

Why did you wasted your money on the hd version after owned the sd version? I can play the sd version on my ipad mini just fine. Just installed the game through ifunbox.

I dont understand why there is a thread for comparisons like this.

Anyways TWEWY is more in-depth gameplay-wise and has a deeper gameplay, and on the other hand, Bastion is more immersive with it's great monologue voiceover and game atmosphere.

To me, TWEWY offers satisfaction that you get in games like Final Fantasy, while Bastion offers satisfaction similar to Diablo.

Both are great games, and choosing which one each player will choose over the other is based on what details they prefer more in a game.

By the way, Bastion is less of an RPG than TWEWY, but is more action-oriented combat-wise.

It's a game comparison im doing every week to see what others prefer. Sort of like that game of the week but with just two hardcore games every week. And it's fun actually, makes you really think about which one is better.
