The game is sadly not in the app store anymore. It wasn't universal or HD, and didn't use game center - but it held a very special place in a few people's hearts, and was one of the early hits in the app store - not top 10 material, but it did sell well enough for me to think that quitting my job was a good idea.

This app is ancient, and if it sees the light of day again (or if I make a sequel) I can guarantee you it would have all those features.

Actually, I think this game came out before iPad 1, probably the only reason it wasn't universal is because I didn't know I should plan for it!

My friend made the Blue Attack soundtrack for me, you can catch some of his older work here:

Go to "all songs" - there are some tracks that were inspired by another project that we were doing together that never saw the light of day. Those tracks ought to be similar to Blue Attack, they have a certain "Freezepop" feel to them:

-Twisted Kiss
-Heartbeat
-EthernetBeat

And one of my personal favourites, a super weird track: "Surprise I'm a Chainsaw!" - it's really weird. But a lot of fun. You've been warned.

Confirmed: the first post in this thread was December 2008.

That's hilarious, I'm old.

That's not that old, that makes you like what, 4 years? Don't worry you will be walking and eating solid food soon.

Four years is ancient in App Store years.

Hey, if you guys are interested in helping me focus on my upcoming projects, I put up a poll here to help you give me some specific feedback on what you want most from me.

Odds are I'll just continue unabated on my new project, but if demand is really high for something else I've always listened to the community.
