Gameloft just revealed this game on an iphone-party in berlin. There is not much info about this game until now but it seems like a really nice gta-clone in 3D! There's a video on the german website iphone-ticker: http://www.iphone-ticker.de/2009/07/07/preview-auf-neues-gamloft-spiel-gangstar/ /e: More details are now posted on the front site: Gameloft's GTA-Like 'Gangstar' Revealed, Exclusive Screenshots and a Video
looks awesome Hopefully the cars will have good physics like gta, not saints row 2... 3/4 of my fun in GTA is driving around running from the cops

Hmm this looks pretty impressive. Now where are those people who say a 3D GTA is impossible on an iDevice?
This game looks so good. It's so detailed, look at the physics for hitting people or cars crashing. It even has race missions. I am very excited for this. Crazy, the first game that isn't available for iPhone original is among us.
Well, we're not 100% on this yet. Arn is getting clarification. It could have just been an accidental omission from the email they sent us. Eventually developers are going to have to make a break from old hardware, I'm kind of surprised to see it come so soon. (Assuming of course that the game requires a 3G-era device.)
U hate caps locks I know u hate caps locks but every member of touch arcade i'm sure woul love to see this. I know their are plenty of you who are very tech savy on this site. Please put a side by side video of gta 3 vs. Iphones gangstar or vice city vs. Gangstart. Those graphics are impressive i want to know how good in comparison to ps2 graphics. Plz show me and the rest of touch arcade .
No one (that I know of) has the game yet. The video we posted was from some Gameloft media event and if you watch from the start you can see the controls from Windows Media Player, meaning what we're seeing is most likely running inside of the iPhone emulator on the hardware of whatever Mac the game was developed on. I like the idea of a performance comparison video, this may be the first game that's technically impressive enough to really require a side by side shootout of devices.
