Can someone please confirm this? I received a promo code for a fairly recent release - Online Sniper League. After redeeming it using my iPhone 4 (through the phone's App Store), I wanted to try it out on my iPad 2. I typed in Online Sniper League on the App Store and instead of greeting me with the INSTALL button, it shows 0.99! I logged out, in, restarted my devices but the price still shows as if i've never redeemed it. More so, the game isn't even on the 'Purchased' section when I click on the icon. Can anyone else try this out and confirm if this is a bug, or a norm?
It seems that the "Purchased" section is restricted to apps bought with money. However, once you have redeemed a promo code, that app is yours and can be downloaded again. I've got several of these on both my iPad and my iPod Touch. Of course, if it's an iPad only app, then I would not be able to put it on my Touch.
