So I just got my new iPad and was looking for some cool multiplayer games that are played on one device with friends. When the iPad was announced everybody said such games will be a huge success because of the big screen of the iPad, however I have a hard time to find games of this category. I thought we could collect a list of single device multiplayer games in this thread. I'll collect what we have so far in this post. Well, as I said, I'm mainly looking for single device games, which you can play on one iPad with your family or friends, like board games and others.
Keltis Oracle 1 to 4 players (all human or 1,2,3 AI opponents). I play this one probably the 2nd most just behind Small World.
I don't know. I'd say yes. Does it "only" have the "each player has an iPhone" multiplayer mode? And how many players can play it?

Wow, that's a nice collection. Will add them to the list. Where or how did you find these? The last time I searched the AppStore for "iPad multiplayer" I didn't see this games in the results. Maybe I'll create a second list for games that require the players to have separate iPhones for the multiplayer part, like Scrabble.
I've been scrounging forums like this one for examples of this kind of game. I wonder if split-screen ought to be considered a separate category from other kinds of simultaneous multiplayer -- these games (such as Touchgrind or Mirror's Edge) really just seem to allow two people to have the single-player experience at the same time, as opposed to the more direct interaction between players in games like Air Hockey or Bombardiers Guild.
