Yeah. But when it's you accepting a friend request (not sending one). It shows your name to the other person saying "_______ accepted your friend request" No, just the name is displayed
Hm...I get them, not sure what's going on there. On the "Me" tab, tap your email at the bottom of the screen. The banner that says "Account: [email address]" Then hit "view account" Scroll down to where it says "edit account info" and below that it says "Apple ID [email address]" And inside that you can edit your name and password etc...
It worked! Thanks a lot! I don't know why I never thought of tapping through everything to find a menu, I just sort of got discouraged when I heard about the update. They should put this info on the front page.
Did you start gaming last night? People can have online gaming friends (that is, people they can trust to have a great gaming experience with), and still not know them personally enough to be on a first name basis. Aren't there people on this board who don't know each other in real life and yet can depend on other posters to discuss forum topics amicably?
You can log out and log back in to your normal one. Or if you were beta testing an app with Game Center, there's a difference between beta Game Center accounts and regular Game Center accounts.
Sorry for digging out this topic, but I recently found out that some of my GC friends use their real name, some use fake names. Is it "legal" to change the real name in the Game Center account info?! I always thought this has to be the Apple ID, that means your real name that you need for buying things with your iTunes Account... Thanks for replies!
Offcourse it is legal to use a fake name in gamecenter. Actually apple recommended users that don't want their real names to be shown use a false name.
