Word Fighter is a new word game by Feel Every Yummy, currently being shown at Pax in Seattle. It will be released in the Fall for iPad and iPhone and at some point Android. It is one of the Pax 10 games, where the founders of Pax select the ten best coming independent games. Multiplayer mode on the iPad will be on one iPad locally as well as online. I can't wait to check this one out.
I was just thinking about this! Can't wait for it. Now I want puzzle fighter on iOS. How stellar would that be? I'd pay premium for that!
Puzzle Fighter on iOS would be amazing. That game has the best "hard swings" in 1 vs 1 puzzle games that I can remember. The most recent games like Puyo Pop Fever and Puzzle Quest are very unforgiving if you make a wrong move and you're playing against someone skilled. Also, I saw the video on Giantbomb (Love that site. Premium member here!) and I think it's great that these guys made it into the PAX 10

I wish more of these word games would come with a german vocabulary. Not that my english is too bad...but my word pool is of course much higher in my native language.
Just saw a note that this won't be out until February now... It's a shame, but let's hope that means an even better game.
