http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiQXi6kdABc&hd=1 This is me using a DualShock 3 via Bluetooth on Ice Cream Sandwich, on a Galaxy S2. I'm desperately searching for a way to make this happen on my iPad 3, and I'm coming up shorter than short. I mean, I can play a version of SoulCalibur from the App Store that is damn near identical to the Dreamcast original, but I am forced to play it through a touch screen method of control, and I am not happy about this fact. I'd love nothing more than to be able to map a controller to the device, but it seems that Apple isn't too keen on that. I got my BT address, mapped the controller with the same address, but it needs a device pin, and it's not letting me pair it to the device. I could come up with a hundred reasons why, but the fact that Android makes it so simple to do this where iOS does not is smacking of a wasted opportunity for an obvious need to be filled. |

Well it is possible on iOS
![]() 1. Download the PS3 pair tool (also works with MotioninJoy) 2. Connect your PS3 controller with your pc (usb) 3. Go on your iOS device to: Settings > General > info. 4. Find Bluetooth (code is something like: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) 5. Type your Bluetooth code in the pair tool. 6. Try to find your PS3 controller on your iDevice. Now you can find your PS3 controller but there must be a way to bypass the pincode, but how? Maybe with BTstack (I think). |

It can be done, and there is a dev currently working on a jailbreak tweak now.
It is compatible with any iCade game as it emulates that input. Search on YouTube for a video of it in action. |
