From the Nexus Game Studio website: We are very pleased to announce our newest game Blitz Block Robo! Our latest venture takes us into the puzzle game realm where weve painstakingly crafted a unique gameplay mechanic that makes the game stand out from the plethora of existing puzzle games out there, which was really hard to make you know. Blitz Block Robo focuses on a block sliding mechanic in order to make colour matches, the more your match up in a selection, the bigger combo you create, youre not restricted to the conventional match 3″. The gameplay is very simple, yet adapts to your style, ensuring youre always provided with a challenge. While what you see is not final yet, development is going very quickly and were working hard to ensure we produce this title to the high quality standard that Nexus presents. Were working with the great talent of Marius Malasar, whom previously composed the outstanding score to infinite, to produce yet again, a killer soundtrack. Currently development is on track and we should expect to release sometime in March for both iOS and Android universal. If you would like to learn more about our game development, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and G+ to get the latest information.
Thanks for the post Andy! We've been getting some great feedback and we hope everyone will enjoy this game once it's done
You're welcome! infinite is one of those rare ''never delete'' games, and we are all glad to see that Blitz Block Robo is coming along nicely!
Thanks everyone! While BBR is a bit more traditional style of game than say infinite, we wanted something that was a blast to play but appealed to more people without going all fuzzy animals or super shiny gems. Went with flat, boldly coloured, clean visuals. While the art is still a work in progress, we hope everyone likes what they see thus far. The gameplay stands out as we really wanted to be unique and avoid being "that other match game" that the store is filled with. Hope we can show you guys some gameplay soon, watch out twitter, might post some there someday soon.
I'm definitely keeping my eye on Twitter for any tidbits you might be sharing. I'm also totally digging the visual style you've gone for with Blitz, colorful and sharp.
