Hi everyone, my first post on touch arcade. I was scrolling through new game posts and found this post by GreyHeader72 on her recent game Aquamarine Submarine http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=273836&highlight=aquamarine (iTunes link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/aquamarine-submarine/id1044107827?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4) She claims it is the best game to test out one's reflexes. I won't disagree with that. The game does require that you are fast and pay attention. The thing that caught my eye , is that no one ever mentioned the fact that it is very similar to the good old Flappy Bird. I would say it is slightly easier than Flappy Bird, which has the same principle. I find the color selection ( blue tones ) very appealing to the eye. Overall, the game is very nerve wracking, especially with the background music she chose. But It's still less irritating to play than FB due to the nice blue colors ( the water is calming). Has anyone managed to go past the score of 100? I either get stung by the jelly fish or blinded by that octopus, which is hard to avoid...Not to mention the iceberg that makes you loose if you touch it once. So what do you think? Another version of Flappy Bird or something more??? Please tell me if you get to a higher score than 100
-Aquamarine Submarine- loved flappy bird, like this version more due to the blue ocean theme, just like you said. I wish there were more bonuses or more twists etc in the game so it won't get boring after a while.
