But this is one of my favorite games on Android -- looks and plays beautifully with a great physics twist and variations in how to approach each level. Hope they fixed the iOS issues because it would be ashame if the game went to waste on this platform. EDIT: looks like the issues have not been fixed judging by the reviews on the App Store. If you own an Android, especially a tablet (despite the tilt controls), I consider this a must buy on that platform. You'll also notice the dramatic difference in reviews on Google Play (well they were around 4.5/5 stars but lowered due to a bug with a newer Android OS version that has been fixed but some haven't gone back to re-rate). It hasn't left my Nexus 7 since I bought it. Ah well, at least if I pick it up free it may get patched down the road and I can play through again! Bronxsta Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2012 4,698 6 38 http://indiegameenthusiast.blogspot.com/ #5 Bronxsta, Jan 10, 2014 I have this on PC, and I really enjoyed it. It's shame that the IOS version got the short end of the stick, because the game itself has some very inventive and unique levels and great liquid physics platforming awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #6 awp69, Jan 10, 2014 Yeah, that sucks. On Android (at least on Tegra devices), it's gorgeous . They really dropped the ball on the iOS version. Too bad, could have been a good game on ipad retinas. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #8 awp69, Jan 10, 2014 Looks like it's on sale on Google Play for $.99 and you do have a Note 3...nudge..nudge..hint...hint PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #9 PeteOzzy, Jan 10, 2014 Played for a little bit and am actually still enjoying it, the graphics for the water are pretty rough the rest isn't that bad so far. As for the controls, I'm not having any troubling Golding every level on my first try - having no more trouble than I did on the Xbox. So I can only imagine the control issues would be a problem regardless of platform Connector Well-Known Member May 6, 2012 15,512 1 0 In the Chatroom http://thechatroom.freeforums.net/ #10 Connector, Jan 10, 2014 Ok, I will bite, I will let you know what I think later. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #11 awp69, Jan 10, 2014 You don't have to. I actually hope the non-Tegra version is as good as the THD one, now that I think about it. Don't know how it looks on iPad 2 tho. Looks fantastic on android. SumoSplash Well-Known Member Sep 27, 2011 2,123 0 36 Playing iOS games, duh. Pennsylvania, U.S. #18 SumoSplash, Jan 11, 2014 Well, that's a little hasty. I was waiting for a sale for this one on purpose due to the exact reasons I waited for a sale: low res and frame rate. I was right about both. I can't say for sure if this isn't Retina, but I am just not happy with the way it looks, period. There are definite frame drops as well. One aspect that I am shocked about is how the Whines aren't available as consumable IAP, especially since this game just went free. I give them props for not going this route, since it would make perfect sense for them to do so. The gameplay seems pretty cool, as I had hoped it would be. The touch-to-tilt controls don't seem to be much of a problem and are much preferred over tilt for a player like myself. Presentation is what is holding this back. Maybe it will grow on me more once I've played it longer. Show Ignored Content Page 1 of 3 1 2 3 Next > Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
