Really been enjoying Starborn Anarkist, but i cant ignore how much Lego Star Wars pulled me in with it's quirky take on Star Wars which im a huge fan of, and that the full content is MASSIVE, with no IAPs other than a premium unlock. Nostalgia plays a huge part too.

Against ports in GOTY, but votes for a port over an IOS exclusive!
    j/k
    :p

Voted for Starborn Anarkist, but I'd definitely get LEGO SW if I had the space

    Hahahaha!

For GotW, i do choose ports sometimes, like KOTOR and Limbo. ;)

That's short bursts of goodness that i have to choose from, while GotY gives me enough time to get into iOS originals to make significant decisions.

I'm amazed that Gta:SA isn't even in second place. I've put more time into that then I have for quite a while on iOS. Easy pick for me.

Suburbia got my vote, Starborn Anarkist was a very close second but in the end my board game addiction won out since I know I'll be playing Suburbia for years to come. Also the developer quickly got an update out fixing all the problems at launch.

So glad to see Poppy Kart make it through to nominations, which must mean at least one other has tried it and like it!

Unfortunately, my heart belongs to Fiz. I'm hoping Starborn gets enough votes anyway though Fiz is definitely a great alternative.

Ski Safari Adventure Time. Its Ski Safari (one of the best runners out there) but on acid. Definitely getting into my GOTY list.

An easy pick would have been GTASA. It is a great port after all. Honestly you could vote for it without even playing it based on the pedigree alone. But the real choice here is Starborn Anarkist. This game is just so fresh and new. Says a lot when I keep playing this over other huge budget games. Way to go devs.

    Awesome game.

GTA:SA would normally have it but the game is like a slideshow on my iPad, almost unplayable at times.

GTA:SA is a good port, maybe even a great port. If they had worked that engine for a beefier framerate and *really* knocked the controls out of the park... Yes it is amazing to have this game on an iPad, but it shows it's age.

Starborn Anarkist is fresh in so many ways, come on TA give the game it's due with a solid review. It took a lot of balls to bring this notion to fruition, that they did it with killer style deserves attention. I will be watching this Dev, I hope they sell big.

Sonic is the most tiresome franchise in history, I no longer care.

Like others, my vote came down to two games; GTA San Andreas and Starborn Anarkist. As easy a pick as GTA can be, Starborn is the game that just kept me coming back to it, to the point where I will look at the clock and see it close to 3AM when I know I need to get up at 6:30!

Good thing I function well on little to no sleep...

  18. Alright starborn anarkist is beating gta! Way to go!

Glad to see a great indie kicking butt against the big boys. Not that GTA:SA or Lego Star Wars aren't good games. I just think, as others have said, Starborn brings something fresh to the table. Sure it looks like it could be just another DSS, but it shines in making you think about the ships you build and the significant impacts it can have with both physics and weaponry.

Also, not a slam against anyone who does like it, but it does being a smile to my face to see a greed (IMO) driven Angry Birds Go get it's due. Even though I've never been a huge AB fan (I do love the SW one), I used to have respect for Rovio and how generous they used to be with their fan base with big level updates, etc. But I fear the fame got to their heads with this one. And, yes, I did play it and found it on the dull side regardless.
