What is the best real time strategy game. The ones I can think of are red alert, the settlers, warfare Inc, robocalypes. Which is best?
Personally, I liked Warefare Inc. I still have the PocketPC version. I haven't played the others, I just don't have the time to invest in it.
I'd have to say Robocalypse. Runs great, looks great, has online multiplayer, and it has a pretty lengthy singleplayer campaign. And its pretty cheap.
Robocalypse! It's frustrating when you want your soldier robots to attack and they're just running around (but I think that's because I'm doing something wrong). Anyway, I really like the game's use of humor so it gets my vote for the best RTS.
I have bought The Settlers over Command and Conquer because I think it can be much more enjoyable on the iPhone. I loved both games' pc versions, C&C was one of my favourites, but this iPhone crossover is not fair for the mythic franchise. It seems that many people have problems with it and at some point they'll drop the premium price. I don't want another Spore... On the other hand, Gameloft hasn't dissapointed me lately, and The Settlers seems more fun than Civilization.
Voted Red Alert, but just got started on Settlers and I like it as well. Robocalypse was great too. Basically, those three are all worth purchasing in my book.
Rise of the Lost Empires is pretty fun. It has twenty levels, a nice story, and good music. It might still be 0.99, but I doubt it. I got it for 4.99 three months ago and don't regret it.
The only bad thing about robocalypse was your stupid soldier who dont do what you tell them. I want to whip them for insubordination >=(
