It isn't terribly hard. I second MrLeQuack and simply find the info on the developer site or google it. It's a pain in the butt, but it is worth it to you to know how to do it.
All the info you need on publishing your app on the App Store can be found in the developer portal, but to answer your question, no, you can't just upload a rar file for Apple to deal with. This is Apple, you need to provide the resources in the sizes and formats they ask for, and submit the file in the specific way they request, or they just won't accept it. End of. We all have to do it that way.
What screen is after the one that asks for the Icons dimensions to upload? How many screens are after this also? Very difficult to do somethig with just half hour net access daily now Thanks
Go to itune submission form and you ll have a step by step guide of it. Nothing so difficult. it can be dome very easily if your application dont have any problem as such.

Help IF anyone has this problem in a loop after clicking first page of add new app button please say as clicked the new terms conditions and thought that would do it to carry on publishing an app
