This was my first experience with any of the Sentinel series, and if they continue to evolve as they did from Mars Defense to Earth Defense, you've defnitely got a winning formula here. Mars Defense was kind of a hard sell - mostly because I'm playing on an iPad, and the graphics were never really designed with x2 Zoom in mind three years ago. (I'm a gameplay-over-graphics guy anyway, and could justify that by imagining I was viewing the battlefield high from orbit, or maybe even from Earth - naturally the appearance of the enemies would be grainy!) I liked the fact that the game pauses to give you a quick explanation every time you encounter a new feature (tower or enemy ability) for the first time, as well as the ease in one-touch-pause-to-play-later. I jumped to Earth Defense pretty quickly after seeing it had Game Center support (I'm a sucker for achievements). About halfway through the first stage now, and I already noticed you addressed some of the things I questioned about Mars Defense - adjusting the costs so "triple upgrades" of standard gun towers aren't a no-brainer anymore, etc. And once I reached the "teleport when slowed" enemies, I knew we had a winner. Any time a game makes me stop to (respectfully?) curse the designers, it's a good one. But yeah, in a somewhat saturated genre, I like what I'm seeing. My brain is already trying to max-min the idea of what's the best ratio for building towers, building repair drones and just sitting back and letting interest gather. And if Sentinel 3 IS today's "freebie," being a Universal App I'll pick it up in a heartbeat, and probably spend the $1.99 on Campaign 2 right out of the gate, out of respect for you offering the entire trilogy free of charge.
