Hi TouchArcade! We're really excited to share our latest title with you. Apocalypse Meow is a space-based shmup where you pilot a ship against hordes of enemies and countless asteroids. As man's best friend (yep, you're a dog), it's up to you to battle the nefarious cats and try to save the last humans. We've included some screenshots and a gameplay video below. I love SkyForce, I spent dozens of hours on that game trying to earn stars to upgrade my ship. If only the developers optimized it for the iPhone 6/6+

Looking through these screenshots from Mike's first post and it's crazy how far we've come since! Thanks for everyone's feedback and support. Some of you that are on the latest builds will notice that we've tweaked a lot since the start. Also, check out our new talking characters!
This looks amazing! will there be purchasable upgrades / different ships? will it be a premium game? And is it still too early for release?
This looks like the exact opposite of another indie game I saw demoed at a conference. It was also a space shooter, with the protagonist being a cat and the villians being dogs. Ironic!
