Mr. Long always tries to play a long word. He doesn't care about the score. Try to use that to your advantage... Never open up for 3xword square etc.

Maximilian is much harder to beat, at least for me

Rex verbi updated to v.1.0.1

Today an update for Rex verbi was released.

It has a few improvements:

* a better game log.
* a more intuitive interface for exchanging tiles.
* a few translation mistakes are fixed.
* new game icon.

It also contains a Finnish word list, for our Scandinavian friends!

Please tell us what you think!

Enjoy!

This has gone free and it is definitely well worth a download!

It is a beautiful Scrabble implementation for single player and local multiple-player modes. Presentation is wonderful, thenp artificial,intelligence players are challenging and I love the log feature. I think it is smart of the developers not putting the effort into an online multi-player mode as Zynga's (yech) WWF already has that market. I would love to see the ability to look up word definitions; they could take advantage of the IOS 5 feature for that. Also, Game Center support would be nice. This is certainly an app worth buying and it will likely be a permanent resident on my iPad.

Update to v.1.1

A new update for Rex Verbi was released earlier today. The changes are:

◆ Rex Verbi now has beautiful, crisp retina graphics!

◆ You can now place tiles by swiping your finger over the board. Prepare your words in the tile rack and then quickly swipe them onto the board.

◆ A new English word list. Hopefully this stricter list will satisfy those who thought the old list was too forgiving. Select English (british) to play with the new list.

◆ New app icon.

◆ Fixed a bug that made Rex Verbi crash if tiles in the tile rack were dragged quickly in a certain, unlikely way.

Enjoy!
