The Destroy Gunner games are pretty good IMO. It's kind of sad though that there aren't any really good full-fledged Mech shooters. Think there's a good opportunity there.
I just wish square would port or make an original front mission game for the platform...It would be perfect..
Ah... now that you mentioned it, i remembered War of Eustrath. Will reinstall. Arent there match-3 hybrids which make use of robots or something like that?

Front Mission, Patlabor, Xenogears ... if Square Enix would announce an Turn-based-Strategy/RPG/... Game in one of those two Franchises I would pay anything they would ask for it or if they would put it on KickStarter I would probably buy one of the higher Pledge just to be sure they get enough Money to make it happen.
I think those games will be instant hits..The trend on the mobile space is tbs... Come on square/enix,its a brilliant idea to do..(crossing my fingers)
