Thanks! I didn't know about that app, so you can substitute disk images? Man I'm always trying to do things the hard way.(basically trying to get castle wolfenstein to run) ---edit--- ok that runs castle wolfenstein but of course no on screen controls. Sigh. I give up. Back to just playing karateka classic as it was intended --edit-- ok there is an onscreen keyboard awesome
yep, full keyboard and also an analog joystick! I've just recently found about that app too.. having lots of fun with my old Apple stuff now!
So which Apple or Apple II OS or games does ActiveGS support? Not aware of this but interested to know.
Ok, I caved and just bought the game. What a neat implementation! Even the floppy drive loading sound appears authentic! The 4-kick hack does not work. Rats! It is supposed to work on the original Apple II version but not here. What happened? Where is the resume? The app does not allow resume if I exit and restart the app.

m44, good score. Here is mine... I finished a run in 19 minutes with no rewinds. What a memory trip of a true classic!
Nice run!!!!!! Do you remember if you fought 3 guys outside? (Or what it four?). Either way, awesome run. Karateka got my vote for Game of the Week. I have really had a lot of fun with this.
As I recall, I think you are right. I remember, when doing that run, that I needed to press on in order to speed up the fighting so to have one less fighter to fight. I think that made up for the lesser time I got for my run. Otherwise, I think our run times would have been similar.
Now your talking! Need to get an iTunes card to get this. Now if only someone would make the original Castle Wolfenstein.
