I don't have any real information on why that project has been on hold for so long other than a guess that a lot of scripts would need to be re-worked, but Jerret (Zodiac's Manager) is smart enough to know that anyone going through the effort it would require to port a server to iPhone is well within reason to demand a cut of the profits. The refusal from Graal's management to agree to such a deal is something that had already postponed the development of Kingdoms iPhone.
