The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in... First Place: Odd Bot Out (7 votes) Second Place : Nobody Said It Was Easy (4 votes) Third Place: Evoland (2 votes) Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=254669 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote for it. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ [Will better format later if time allows] Auro: A Monster-Bumping Adventure Cava Racing Chesslike: Adventures In Chess Daytona Rush King of Thieves Might Switch Force! Planet Quest Auro ...a great title i couldn't get in, not at all. Same as it happened with Hoplite, Lamp and Vamp and such. Now i know for sure, it's simply not my genre.
Planet Quest (meaty and beaty) Radical (free) Auro (raborealis the icy sky at night) Chesslike (it would appear I'm on my own with this one) Stay Together (deconscious coupling)
Havent bought anything this week, but im enjoying Daytona Rush a bit. So my nom will be that. Daytona Rush
I'm more or less over hard, twitchy games like Radical. However this was a hard, twitchy game by the guys behind the Mikey series. If Radical doing well means there's a better chance of more Mikey by BeaverTap Games then that's enough incentive for me to check it out. The fact that the game is pretty fun (especially in Hard mode) is a bonus. The music by Whitaker Trebela (Polymer, Pivvot) is also worth a mention. Planet Quest by OutOfTheBit came as a compete surprise to me. It's another tough game but also an incredibly fun one as you tap to the rhythm. There is variation to the songs depending in which order you play them. The game is free, with the only IAP being $0.99 to remove ads. Planet Quest is my game of the week, do check it out.
