Do you know what type of memory is being used? I tried cleaning up both RAM (by shutting down apps) and disk space (by deleting them) to no avail.

This is the first game that's drawn me in for a long time, and for 99 cents, I could not be more pleased. I'm just a little overwhelmed with taking care of all my puppies (and I've only got around 15) How the heck am I supposed to keep them all bathed and cleaned and happy when I've got 40, I wonder.

That said, I am absolutely stuck on level 39. I spent the better part of an hour playing it and logged out, and now I'm back at the beginning of the level. How and what the heck am I supposed to do to solve this? The entire middle column is locked, with only 1 movable bar of jewels, so really, I have no idea what to do with it.

Bought this today despite my aversion to IAPs. FYI, to the dev, the idea of IAPs alone don't bother me, it's their lack of permanence that does. This "one purchase to unlock the full game" is certainly the best of the IAP options, but it's still not what I'd prefer because, as another poster pointed out, the full unlock isn't permanent. 20 years from now, if I dig up my iphone because I have a craving for Puppy Sanctuary and I reinstall it, unless Apple is still able to verify my purchase, I'm SOL. THAT'S the reason there is so much backlash against IAPs, even seemingly innocuous ones like this.

For the record, I've heard the argument made that even if the dev and Apple stop hosting the app, the IAP would still be restored and I have no way of verifying that. I do find that hard to believe though because that information has to be stored somewhere in order for it to be truly veified and that info won't be upkept forever... Please consider releasing full paid-up-front games in the future.

Regardless, thanks for creating these great games!

It's the system's current memory usage rather than the device's storage. So shutting down apps before playing and 'restarting' the device may improve the chances of not getting a crash on the 1st Gen iPad ... not ideal. It turns out I was using too much memory for 256MB devices, but for some reason it affected the 1st Gen iPad far more than my 4th Gen iPod Touch.

It's all fixed now and I've sent Apple an update for approval : ) I just hope it doesn't take long, sometimes it's a matter of a few days, other times, it can be two weeks!

Ah yes ... you need to use your 'overload' power up on the central section's locks.

Make lots and lots of matches and it will charge up (just in case, it's located on the aliens red puppy trap). When it glows you can drag the power onto the locks to smash them three at a time. It should only take one power up though as you'll be able to match away the other locks once you have the flow of tiles restored!

I know this is probably not the right place to ask this but is there any chance that Kitten Sanctuary can have Game Center Achievments at some point like Puppy Sanctuary or has Kitten Sanctuary been kind of abandoned since Puppy Sanctuary was released?

I'm sorry for the delay on this. I had originally intended to add Game Center support soon after Darkside's release, which was 2-3 months ago now! Thing is, I had to give up smoking and doing so really killed my productivity for a while ... but ... an update will be available shortly, thanks for the reminder! : )
