Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

Anyone even remotely interested in this game should go check out the game Stone of Life, it has more depth in all aspects and is free to play plus you can play offline.

So wait, does this need you to be always online (and eat my cellular data) or is it just a check at the start?

Trinity games almost always go free. They can be quite fun for a while, but the charm usually wears off at some point amidst the grinding.

A free Trinity game is generally worth a download to check out. A Trinity game that costs money -- well, each to their own on that.
