I hired a freelancer for another game and asked them if they have made it for all iPhone models also iPad iPad mini and iPod so how can I check if they have actually done that?
Check if they are credited within the app? Developers usually credit the people who have designed/programmed for them within the app itself. Apart from that, do some research on the products and you should be able to find out.
