App description: The most addictive matchstick game ever!

6 different game scenes with 120 game levels!

Collapsticks takes matchstick games to a whole new level with the help of gravity. It looks deceivingly simple, but once you start playing, you'll soon find it hard to put down. Easy to learn but challenging enough to keep your brain busy for hours!

Here's how you play:

Make matchsticks collapse and fall off the screen. Get points for fallen matches. Sounds easy!

Drag a match to the matchbox and see how the structure collapses. Try to figure out how you can make as many matches fall all the way down as possible. Look out for pencils, bugs, bullets and other obstacles.

"Collapsticks is a neat and tidy puzzler that could easily have spiraled in to chaos (like so many other physics manipulating puzzlers), but instead it offers a range of thought provoking challenges." -AppSpy.com

Rumilus Design's comments:
Collapsticks is a simple, yet challenging puzzle game based on our original idea. It looks like a traditional matchstick game where you move matches around, but once you grab a match and remove it, gravity takes over!

The game was released on Windows Phone late last year, and has been pretty popular especially in Russia and China (peaking at #2 in top paid games). The iOS version was released a week ago and shot to the top of the Finnish App Store games chart.

Give it a try and tell us what you think! It's our first game so we'd love to hear your comments.

AppSpy review

AppSpy gave Collapsticks a 3/5 rating. Obviously, we feel it should be higher, but we might be a little biased...

How would you rate Collapsticks? What should we do differently in our next game?

Cheers!

Nicely done game. I picked it up because it looked like a fair amount of work went into the design. The game even better looking than what you see int he video. I've only been through a little bit of the game but I'm really liking it.

There is some good strategy behind choosing the right match sticks to take away, and when.

Looking forward to getting into this one a little more. High marks for the look. Worth the buck.

Nice!

Thanks, QuickWit, glad you liked it! We really did put a lot of effort into this so it's good to hear that it shows

Any comments on the sounds? We've heard some people say that the sounds are a little annoying at times. But there's a reason for that too. We had this idea that in each scene (except maybe in the forest scene, or the Casino) there's something serious and urgent happening in the background but you're so engaged in playing with the matches that you just don't care if everything is falling apart around you. Not sure if that comes through so well but that's why some of the soundscapes aren't always that easy on your ears.

Thanks again for the comment,
