Built to have the look and feel of the retro style dungeon crawlers of the late 80s and early 90s.In it you play either a fighter, cleric, rogue or wizard. Each class has it's own style of play and makes for a unique experience. As you travel down in to the depths of the maze like tumulus you'll fight monsters, collect loot and gain levels. All this is done in preparation for the greater evil that lies at the bottom of the catacombs. The dungeon is big... really big. There are 20 floors to explore and while exploring you'll come across over 100 different creatures, chests, random events and the occasional guardian. But, you wont have to succeed by wits alone. There are hundreds of items and over a 100 spells, scrolls and potions you can use to help you on your way. From time to time you may need to pop back up above ground to rest and restock provisions. You can always find help at the inn or temple. And if you need a diversion, you can have some fun in the arena either betting or fighting. Or perhaps go browse around in the marketplace, library or alchemist shop. Go! Adventure!! Have fun!!! One of the most "wtf-est" maps ive seen! undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #3 undeadcow, Jan 14, 2012 I've played this one a bit, it's a detailed dungeon crawler that lacks some polish but has a nice gritty atmosphere and varied enemies. Out of all the dungeon crawlers I've played on iOS (which isn't comprehensive) this has the most elaborate maze dungeons I've seen. Combat is a big more varied too. It's a shame to see a quality indie RPG like this go free. Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #7 Gunlock, Jun 5, 2012 I would really like to try it out, but it crashes constantly just a second after starting the app - can't even see a loading screen. Restarting the device doesn't help. I hope this game will be updated, looks like an interesting dungeon crawler. It really does suspense right. Only wish the developer will add buttons for movement. Swiping to explore a FPS dungeon is very tiring, and the only reason I am not playing it more... cretpetpet Well-Known Member Jul 9, 2011 404 0 0 Ostia #15 cretpetpet, May 16, 2013 Great game. Loving it so far. And i agree to the need of easier control Thanks for the freebie alert paradsecar Well-Known Member Jun 27, 2012 104 0 0 #16 paradsecar, May 16, 2013 I agree with implementing a choice of a different control scheme and would add that a minimap of some sort would be excellent. Toggling back and forth between the map and the game also gets tiring pretty fast. Maybe something similar to what The Quest has with a small zoomed-in view. ToF is a fun enough game part of me feels like trying to launch some sort of "Save Tumulus of Fen" campaign and it's definitely worth a free download. Pocketnova Well-Known Member Oct 15, 2012 2,346 0 0 #19 Pocketnova, Sep 3, 2013 Well, that's a shame. I like Apple, but it seems like an unfair thing, screwing the customers and the dev. I could understand not being able to update it/change the price and of course not be able to submit any apps, but removing all the apps? That seems like a sh*tty move to me. _Max_ Well-Known Member Apr 19, 2012 1,500 0 0 #20 _Max_, Sep 3, 2013 sad story to devs, give some support to devs by downloading it then.
