    Hi everybody.
I'm happy to announce the forthcoming iphone game from Digi-Chain Games - Dungeon of the Damned.

Dungeon of the Damned is an adventure game inspired in part by the likes of Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and Black Crypt. Featuring dungeon exploration, puzzle solving and classic point & click gameplay.

More details will be posted over the coming weeks. In the meantime, here's a teaser trailer for Dungeon of the Damned:

UPDATE 18/12/11: Launch trailer now added

I love games of this type, and I'm really glad to see a sudden resurgence of them on the app store. It certainly brings back a lot of great memories from my childhood. :) Any timeline for when some actual screenshots of your game will be posted up?

Screenshots should be posted in the next couple of weeks.

Unlike some of the other Dungeon-Crawler games announced recently, this will be very much an old-school adventure/puzzle game (with the added bonus of dungeon exploration - pressure pads, levers, secret passages, portals etc etc!)

Thanks for your interest, more will follow...

Looks promising and perhaps more deliciously traditional than other games recently released. Sign me up. When is the coming out?

Yes, traditional in style it will be. The aim is just to create a good old-fashioned adventure game.

Sorry - no due date just yet. It'll be released when its ready... which will most likely be in the next month or two.

I, for one, would prefer you to take your time and make it the best game possible. Waiting makes it sweeter when it's finally released

Really looking forward to this one..Dungeon Master (and it's puzzles) is my all-time favourite game (being a gamer for 30+ years!).
Will be following this one closely..

wow,why the "omg!" expressions? nothing was revealed in that video. some guy with an accent talking and some flames and corridors. am i missing something? i'll hold my exclamations for after some actual gameplay has been shown, like enemies;weapons;controls.......not trying to dis the dev. at all, just don't understand why all the fuss when nothing has really been shown.

    :eek::eek::eek:

Dungeon of the Damned: The Adventure Game - is progressing nicely!

Its shaping up to be one for you retro-adventure heads...
I've just been working on some sound-design, and the the dungeon is now coming to life!

Expect a new video soon with some gameplay footage too.

I'm currently deciding whether to release mid-December (amongst the X-mas mayhem!) or wait til January when the app store returns to relative normality!...

Sounds great! I know you'd said that you are releasing a video here soon, but it would be great if you could release a couple of screenshots just so we could all see what to expect. :)

As for when to release it, I'd say aim for mid-December because you will have people buying up games like crazy throughout the month, and that's a lot of action to miss out on. :) Either way, I'm really looking forward to seeing how your game turns out!
