Just went to pick this up and noticed the price doubled overnight. That's not cool.

And now I must wait for a sale.

The lower price was a well-publicised introductory sale, so you should have jumped faster. :P

We're looking at some memory issues on iPad 1. For now, it is recommended that you power your device off and on to make sure you've got maximum free memory.

Update with fixes coming in the next couple of weeks.

We appreciate your feedback and your patience!

I like the game so far (haven't played the physical game).

I do have some nitpicks:

The game is destroying my battery life.

Ability to access the menu is inconsistent when an AI player is taking their turn.

I think the game ended my turn prematurely when I minimized it.

I really wish the tutorial did a better job of telling you why you choose a particular action/event/etc.

You can't see the whole map when choosing to use a minor empire

It feels like there is considerable wasted space in the UI. I would prefer for the map to have been much larger, even if it overlapped with other elements.

I've seen some occasional weirdness, including an attack that ended when I hit the attack button (royally screwing me in the process) and an empire card that got stuck in the enlarged position, but overall the app is solid.
Has the battery life issue for A Brief History of the World been patched? That is the only thing holding me back...

I tried it several times and it has no impact on the behaviour of the app. It still crashes.

I feel your pain, brother, as I've had too many nasty crashes on my iPad 1 back in the day (not even enough RAM to power it, that's for sure).

Here's my question to you, however, about how many apps do you have on the thing at the moment? What I found out the hard way myself is even when I had more than enough HD space for all of my apps, simply the "indexing" of all of these apps when in the multiple hundreds took a constant chunk of dedicated RAM.

Update has been out for some time but nobody is talking about it...

Fix many bugs which leaves the game unplayable and now it seems fine. I only need more people to play with...

Still a couple of annoying bugs:

1. When you click on the empire card, it just covers the screen and most of the time, I cannot clear it by clicking on the card. But this can be cleared by exiting the current game and re-enter.

2. The AI stops when it tries to do something at North America, you cannot skip it and all you can do is abandoning the game...

Statement: Star Wars has 2 characters with strange use of grammar: Yoda and HK-47. I pick HK-47 for it is meaner.

Honestly, I was never terribly good at games. - Finch (PoI S2E16)
