Ubisoft, they ruin everything they touch. IAP up the wazoo too.

I played it for around 30 minutes during which i didn't encounter any of the usual f2p walls like timers etc. I can't say if they come into play later on because i encountered several pretty big bugs which made me give up on it

Also, not too crazy about a chat window taking up 1/4th of the screen and not crazy about having a chat you can't remove. I don't want to read kids spamming in leet or text speak when i'm playing a game

Iap ftw

Don't these companies understand that gamers find it disgusting, and insulting to try to make us pay more money out in IAP, than it costs to buy the game outright. If you want to play Anno, please seek the PC version. This version for the iOS has been destroyed by IAP. Why in the world would I pay more than the 10-15 dollars (depending on which one) for a full version on the PC.

The PC has a 1400's, 1700's, and futuristic (2070) version. 1701 AD is an awesome game.

There are IAPs, but it's not in your face IAP system from the start. This might just be a trick though, but still.

I though the game is fun, but I ran into the "houses not connected to the road even if I build roads all the fudge around them" problem. The roadbuilding tool is kind of clunky to begin with, but otherwise it would be a decent game. I would rather pay 5-10 bucks upfront, and get the whole game of course, but that's not the reality of the AppStore these days. At least it's not the 100th Clash of Clans clone.

Hi, I've got problem with providing citizens... the road. It's weird, because eveything seems to be just right, houses with the exclamation mark are right to the market and has a proper road connection. I've waiting few minutes, but nothing has changed. Any ideas?
