App description: Evhacon is a single player roleplaying game created by independent developer Pietro Nifosi and Retroverso Games.

Assume the role of an unknown hero charged with aiding the Aecherians on a epic quest steeped in mystery and high adventure!
In typical RPG fashion youll go on quests, fight monsters and level up your character.
Enhance your attributes and talents as you see fit to achieve the playing style that most fits your playing style.
Assemble valuable gear and rare items from vendors, chests, and from the body of those you have dispatched.
In a neat little twist some chests and doors may actually require you to complete a lock-picking mini-game in order to gain access to them.
Once youve completed the designated quests youll still be able to scour the countryside looking for items to build up your character for the next part of the journey.
Future enhancements will include professions, a place to stash excess goods and the ability to transfer your character from one episode to the next.
Vivid, detailed graphics help the game world come to life, and every character is voice acted.

Features:
Fully interactive 3D World
3rd person camera
Beautiful soundtracks and realistic ambient sounds
Accurate combat with manual blocking and attacking.
Vast selection of weapon types and upgrades
Lockpicking system
And much much more!

Powered by Unreal Engine 3.

* Please note: Evhacon may not work properly, or at all, on the following devices-
-iPod Touch4, -iPad 1, -iPhone 4s, -and lower, due to the highly detailed environments.

So today I felt like playing some more Evhacon. I booted up the old version (that's right, I've got both right in my RPG folder), and I just rushed through the game as quickly as possible. I skipped through the dialogue, ran away from enemies that I didn't have to kill, only went to houses that I had to, and it also helped that I played the newer version as well. It took me 45 minutes to finish it, though I'm sure I could bring it to half that time if I played again. Anyway, the game is excellent for a speedrun haha

It was just fun to play the game after the revamp and then compare it to before the revamp.

Thanks Primoz, I'm glad you actually liked it. Too bad you've finished it already. I'd like you give it another go for funsies once v1.1b is released (next week hopefully?) to check out the new changes/fixes (no longer delayed controls, etc) and the extra quest rewards (the Tahlani sacrificial dagger as well as the Aecherian round shield - both unique items). Have you had a chance to read some of the lore books (if you are into that) and in particular the one about the hamlet? Did you get the reference?

And... uhm... the way I see it, that over there, really just looked like an ordinary fork!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, and sorry if it has, but a free version of Evhacon has popped up last night:

Good to see it's finally here.

Welcome to Evhacon TKv (TirKione's version 1.1.1) - it's FREE TO PLAY!!
What does TirKione mean?

Quote:
SUPPORT OUR DEVELOPMENT - BUY THE FULL VERSION FOR ONLY $0.99 with no adv banners, faster framerate, and constant updates!
So this is basically the same version as the paid one, except that it has ads. Anyone tried it yet? Are ads very intrusive? Also, why does the free version have slower framerate?

Anyway, the 1.1b update should come soon. The developer had some trouble with the approval proccess because one of the screenshots has blood in it (the same screenshot was approved in the previous version...).

Hey guys, we are about to update both versions of Evhacon once again.

Evhacon Tkv (Free app) - is going to be upgraded from demo to fully-featured episode with banners (hopefully less intrusive - I don't really have much control over iAds).

Evhacon (Paid app $0.99) - is going to feature better controls and options among several minor bug fixes.

Stay Tuned for more updates!

Spread the word if you like the game, that's all we ask!

Version 1.1b is now available on the AppStore. People who bought the paid version of the app can upgrade it for free.
