It will not be premium game.. No worry about it I think that you will see more videos fron CES, but the problem is that map is for 8 players and there will be only few tablets connected.. Will not be a premium game??? I hope that means included update rather than taking the other route or freemium app with IAP to buy your way to the best weapons. Whatever happens I'm sure it will be epic. BTW still dying in hard mode on leftover constantly, i need more practice before letting loose online

What about the people who bought the game for $8.00 at launch and were led to believe that multiplayer was to be added by the end of 2011? Will there be a charge for the upcoming multiplayer game? Morning Its Separate app and for free.. You will not pay for it, but there will be some IAP, but in good way.. We were not able to add it to original SG, because things start to be complicated and progress was slow.. Now its better and we could deliver great mp game for you.. Best
What about us early birds that bought the game for $7.99 led to believe the price would go up when multiplayer comes out only to find a few weeks later it went down to $4.99 for ever?
I just went through the entire thread and couldn't find any posts from Madfinger saying that the original $8.99 price would go up when multiplayer released. Could you point to where an official representative of Madfinger made such a statement? The only time I have ever heard a developer ask people to buy a game now "because the price will go up when when we release MP" was tatoforever with Dead Strike.
IAPs in multiplayer make me I wonder what Madfinger means by IAP in a good way. The only good IAP I can think of involves map expansion like on consoles or PC.
On consoles and PC they charge you $40-60 for the game. If you bought it used you would pay an additional $10-15 for an "online pass." The comparison simply doesn't hold. My guess is that the model here is something like Team Fortress 2, which is free to play but includes many, many opportunities for IAP.
I'm truly disappointed. I bought the game at $4.99, played it and it didn't live up to my expectations. I was obviously hoping that the multiplayer would help justify the purchase, but well.. you know. Just goes to show that you shouldn't take anyone's word on what they plan to update, because something may happen that will change their plans. Of course.. it is my fault for pressing the 'buy' button right when it went on sale though
I'm sorry you arent satisfied with shadowgun. i bought it day 1 for 7.99 and im still glad i did. I feel good supporting the devs that deserve it as well.
