I have only had average sale stuff, nothing i'd say is a success :p

the best I can do is say we've been in new and noteworthy or what's hot constantly for 5 months, in Australia, but that is kinda cheating because i think australian itunes favours australian devs :p

Well, my most successful game is [app]PinPon[/app]
But I can't really call it a major success. Sales have been slow.

Squid Drop has been my least unsuccessful title. ;) While still a losing me money I have at least managed to get some attention, great reviews, and will for once actually see some money coming in from Apple. Hopefully the amount of exposure will make it slightly easier to get some attention for my next title as well. That title will obviously be a gigantic success! :D

    like fullscreen squids.. :D

i assume the most successfull game does not need to be iOS? then its an rts.. dev cost around 8mio, sold around 30-40k units.. company went bankrupt as well as the publisher.. :D

Our most successful game so far has been Hungry Birdz. Not huge sales but for the past year has brought in money each month since the beginning.

Its a love or hate game. :) Being our first attempt at creating any games it was a learning experience. Too complex for some. Too many modes of play etc but its still selling and for that we are pretty happy.

Our second game went nowhere but those who own it play it regularly. Its called Stacked Sevens.

If i was doing both those games today they would be completely different due to what we now know.

Its always a learning experience. Just never give up.

Hopefully what we have learned over the past year will enable us to do the same as Hungry Birdz but on a larger scale.

Almost finished our next offering and blind testing with strangers seems to be very positive.

    Cheers

    Mike

Backlash did okay* but since it was our first game we kind of stumbled out of the gate. We're thinking about pulling it and having a do-over.

    *not totally awful

Haha! That would have been a freaking nightmare to implement (at least at our current skill level). We've been working on some huge changes, enough that it might turn out to be a completely new game. Believe me, I'll keep everyone posted :D

Our must successful game is Soccer Wind Shot, a free game.
Since mid march, most of our games are free. So we did 10 000 (free) downloads in a couple of month. Don't know if it's good or not.

Ground Effect is my only release so far. It's had over a million downloads but sadly well over 900,000 of those were while it was free.

If we're talking any game we ever worked on, I'd have to say the original Populous in '87. It's probably not the most in sales but got to number 1 in more charts and on more platforms than any game I've worked on since.
