So, I picked up a code from the dev for the iPad version, and ended up downloading both...

First, the game is really sweet graphically. The palette and character/level design are really good. It's a pleasure just to look at the game.

The BGM is really, REALLY nice. Again, I could just let the game sit idle and listen.

Level design is good, as in, challenging but not unfairly so. Skill is rewarded appropriately, as opposed to worrying about "getting lucky."

Finally, the dev sells the game using what I consider the most honest, fair version of IAP.

10 levels free, pay a buck for 40 more if you like what you see. 50 levels for a buck. Very reasonable, and very clear.

Think "Twang the Fox," only a bit more developed in some respects, a bit less bombastic, and you've got Pangolin.

Thanks for the review and kind words. Never heard of Twang the Fox – definitely seems like the closest thing out there from an interaction perspective.
